The farm which produces this coffee has won the prestigious New Ventures Business Competition award for developing a promising business that promotes environmental and social responsibility on Latin America. Note: As there is limited supply of the above coffee, during times when it is not we use a coffee from the Apia region which, while is has not won awards for its practices, does practice social and environmental responsibility.
